EQUALITY

Equality. Yes, I am sure you must have heard about it everywhere, but how many of you have ever related to it in your everyday life situations. Although it’s not a trending topic, I thought we should all be aware of what we do unintentionally.
I won't bore you...I’ll move on by telling you a story, from my collection to add into yours. Of course every one of you must have heard about Cars and Motorbikes but have you ever asked yourself why they are different when they help in performing the same tasks?
 I’ll tell you:

"There was a big Car that was proud of itself because it was large; it always mocked the Motorbike due to it being small compared to the car. The cleaner always washed the car with expensive soap, liquids and water while the motorbike was left dusty and grubby. The owner always drove to his office, parties and other various events on his car and used the motorbike when he is going to buy groceries. So again car said to motorbike “Who is the best of them all? ME” and laughed away.
But one day while going to the office he met traffic and got late to work. Due to regular traffics he reached late every day and his boss was very annoyed at him. So a very considerable amount used to be cut from his salary for being late.
From the next month he changed his mode of transport to motorbike to go office, he still faced traffic jams but now he was able to counter them he traveled amidst big cars and buses and reached office on time. He regained his lost esteem and was awarded the most punctual employee of the year.
Thus he understood the importance of his Motorbike and used it more often than his car. At last the car apologized to the motorbike for his bad remarks and promised to respect it and treat it equally."

From this story we learn that everything created in this world has its own particularity; the way it should perform its tasks or how it should continue/move forward in life.

Just like this story take an example of a boss and an employee, do you feel the treatment of status is equal between them? No right! Because there is always the boss ordering the employee. But have you given it a thought that if it weren’t for the employees there would be no boss in the first place.

Similarly in a class there are categories of students; studious, talkative, introverts, noisy and others. Most of the time there is always that group of two to three children that are very smart, respond quick and know everything but what about the others who can’t respond/process that quick and as they need time to answer or state their opinion they are labelled as the 'slower' 'less smart' children. Do you
feel like their treatment of opportunities are equal?

Moving on to something that is wanted by all but provided by some! Yes you got it - Rights. This topic has always been on the trending “Human rights, animal rights, women rights, plant rights...” but rarely will you see people following it.
Recently, I was part of a car racing activity as a volunteer, lots of people were there and amidst the crowd stood various kinds of people in groups. One of the groups that I was standing next to were betting about the racers - who has high chances to win and all that, I was keenly listening to them.
There were 7 Men and 3 Women as participants but the moment came when I felt very low spirited as the whole group had their bets on any of the 7 men. They weren't confident about the women winning.
But when the race came to an end  the winner was a man and the 1st and 2nd runners up were both
women.

Just a little encouragement. love and support towards one another is all we need.

In this piece I explored equality as dealing wholly with life experiences in general.
My definition of equality is that everybody should be subjected to the same set of rules, even though there are many times when the same set of rules can be unfair, I wish that with this piece of writing I was able to change a small chunk of your thought.
Do not demean anyone, as everyone has a role to play!
